Drunk Driving PSAs

The fact that people still drink and drive in spite of everyone knowing it impairs a driver’s abilities tells us there’s still a need to remind people of the issue. Fines have increased. Laws have toughed. Police visibly crack down. MADD has invested years, tears and money working to convince people to never drive if you’ve had a drink. And yet, there are still stories on the news that horrify us. Or we know someone who’s been killed by a drunk driver. Or we know someone whose license has been taken away because they were DUI. We hear about a car full of kids after Prom. We shake our heads in sad disbelief. Driving drunk is an avoidable tragedy. Call a taxi. Call a friend. Call a mom. Stay where you are. Apparently, it will take more dramatic reminders of the consequences to save more lives. Stop drunks from driving.
