Emergency Preparedness PSAs

Are you ready for anything? What if you need to evacuate the area because of a chemical spill or sudden power outages and the kids are at school and you’re at work miles away? Do you have a plan? Do you know what foods to have on hand or what you’ll need if there’s an ice storm or a bridge to town goes out? What about medications? Pets and their needs? People who are disabled? Seniors? Katrina showed us that you can’t expect help will get to you as fast as you’d like and the aftermath can go on for years. Think about making plans for all sorts of emergencies—big and small—when you’re at home, working or traveling. There are always things you can do to be more ready.
